Delay Bolton

Democrats forced the Senate on Thursday evening to postpone a vote on John R. Bolton as ambassador to the United Nations, demanding that the White House first hand over classified information about Mr. Bolton's conduct that it has refused for weeks to provide.

The only problem with the Democrats delaying the vote on Bolton is that they are hoping to uncover something horrible that will kill the nomination.

But they are assuming that Republicans actually care about decency and morality instead of pure politics.

If they uncover a video of Bolton raping a nun in a Satanic Ceremony, they will start swearing that it's acceptable behavior and confirm him - because the alternative would be to make Bush look bad.

And they would rather sacrifice their own soul than make Bush look bad.

Perhaps that's because they already have.
