Russert, Media Whore

If there is any question that Tim Russert is a total GOP whore who occasionally throws a bone to the other side in a futile attempt to appear objective, the following quotation about the debate should end it:

"I think both candidates came in polished and presented it in a very powerful way."

Got that? Russert thinks that Bush looked polished in that debate and presented his points in a powerful way.

That's what the man said.

Is he joking? The only polished about Bush was his shoes, and every sane person watching that debate knew it.

What does Bush have to do for Russert to say he didn't look very good? Vomit on the Japanese Prime Minister or something?

Sheesh.
