Am I the only one who thinks this level of news coverage when there really isn't anything to report is downright ghoulish?
It's the contradiction of the modern press: we now have more news coverage than EVER - and less actual NEWS. We now have 24-hour coverage. So why why aren't there more stories?
TV news used to last one hour and cover 24 stories. Now it lasts 24 hours and they cover one story.
