The DNC has a new ad, and it's courtesy of - John McCain.

"You can't fly in on an aircraft carrier and declare victory and have the deaths continue. You can't do that."

"Nothing we are called upon to do comes close to matching the heroism of our troops. All we are called upon to do is to not spend our nation into bankruptcy while our soldiers risk their lives. I fondly remember a time when real Republicans stood for fiscal responsibility."

Poor McCain: I wouldn't vote for him because I totally disagree with most of what he says, but at least I respect him.

He's trying to retain some principles in a party that has ceased to have any.
