Bush: Close Guantanamo

Bush now says he wants to close Guantanamo, and you know why he hasn't? Because of that nasty, procrastinating Supreme Court:

BERLIN (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said he would like to close the U.S.-run prison at Guantanamo Bay -- a step urged by several U.S. allies -- but was awaiting a Supreme Court ruling on how suspects held there might be tried.

I'm sure you've noticed Bush just clamoring for a ruling from the court. Heck, it's only been three years.

There is something in the way these people think that is totally divorced from reality.

"Our top court must still rule on whether they should go before a civil or military court," he said.

"They will get their day in court. One can't say that of the people that they killed. They didn't give these people the opportunity for a fair trial."

Did the man fail civics? =sigh= Unless they have some sort of trial, HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THEY ARE GUILTY? They may not have killed ANYBODY.

The PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES doesn't know THAT?

Eight-year-olds know that.
