Rice Challenges Clinton on Terror Record By Associated Press
NEW YORK - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice challenged former President Clinton's claim that he did more than many of his conservative critics to pursue Osama bin Laden, and she accused President Bush's predecessor of leaving no comprehensive plan to fight al-Qaida.
"What we did in the eight months was at least as aggressive as what the Clinton administration did in the preceding years."
WHAT did you do, Condi? Be specific. Was there even a SINGLE meeting? On what date? How come you don't provide any specifics, like CLINTON did?
"We were not left a comprehensive strategy to fight al-Qaida," she told the newspaper, which is owned by News Corp., which also owns Fox News Channel.
So you WERE left a strategy, and decide to quibble over the word "comprehensive." What did you DO with the strategy that CLINTON left you, Condi?
You don't volunteer the information. And Fox doesn't ask. Of course.
