No shit

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Tax and accounting loopholes that largely benefit rich taxpayers and companies cost the U.S. government $20 billion a year even as the pay gap between chief executives and employees has widened, two groups said on Monday.

They needed a STUDY to find out that wealthy people and corporations work the system for all its worth.

20 billion a year.

Don't expect anything to get done about it though: the people responsible for doing something about it are all bought and paid for.
