Civilian deaths: 35,000

So the deaths of Iraqi civilians are more than 10 times the deaths of American soldiers.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- Nearly 35,000 civilians were killed last year in Iraq, the United Nations said Tuesday, a sharp increase from the numbers reported previously by the Iraqi government.

I'll be it's a carload more than the number of insurgents.

Some intrepid reporter should Bush why we are at war against Iraqi civilians.

UPDATE: Moving the anonymous comment here, because it's accurate: "It's a damn site more than 10 times. Read carefully. 35,000 civilians were killed LAST YEAR, not in the nearly four years it's taken us to lose over 3,000."
