Guantanamo probed

The military is actually launching an investigation into allegeations of abuse at Guantanamo. The exposure of the documents requested by the ACLU actually seem to be leading to something.

Does anyone have any doubt that if it was up to the Bush Administration, NONE of it would be investigated?

You know things have gotten totally insane when the military bureaucracy is the most moderate, reasonable voice in the government.

"Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld has repeatedly said that the Guantanamo detainees have been treated "humanely."

Somehow, Donald, I suspect that YOUR definition of "humane" and the definition accepted by most sane people are two very different things.
