The fact that the guy what was actually responsible for the attacks hasn't even had his name mentioned in such an atmosphere is rather glaring omission, isn't it?
Jimmy Breslin noticed.
"In three straight speeches, one by Cheney at Ellis Island and those by John McCain and Rudolph Giuliani on Monday night at the Republican convention, not once was the name of Osama bin Laden mentioned. . . Giuliani's bothered the most. He left out bin Laden because Bush can't get the words out of his mouth. Why shouldn't his boss ignore bin Laden? He is the killer who got away and he stands for the war that kills Americans every day."
